We're pleased to introduce a new alerting feature in Cluey that improves real-time communication and operational awareness for field teams:

  • Real-Time Alert Notifications – Observations marked as Alerts now trigger an instant notification to all members of the same group as soon as they have mobile connectivity, helping teams respond more quickly to important events.
  • Configurable Notifications – Alert notifications can be customised in your Android notification settings. Users can enable or disable sound and vibration, or choose a custom notification sound to suit their preferences.


Getting Started

To enable alert notifications:

  1. Ensure your upload queue in Cluey is empty.
  2. Update to the latest version of Cluey.
  3. Log out of Cluey and log back in.
