Adding Data to the Risk Radar
Data sources are added to the Risk Radar through the Radar-agent, a dedicated Cluey user account created specifically for the Risk Radar. The owner of the Risk Radar maintains full control over the Radar-agent. The Risk Radar can integrate multiple types of data; for clarity, we distinguish between:
- Cluey observations
- All other data sources
Category 1: Cluey Observations
- To connect the Risk Radar to your Cluey data, invite the Radar-agent into your Cluey group. Like other group members, the Radar-agent can be invited via its email by the Group Owner. The Radar-agent should be assigned Analyst rights to ensure it can access and make data available to the Risk Radar.
- Important: The Radar-agent can access data from all Cluey groups it is a member of. By inviting the Radar-agent into your group, you provide Free, Prior, and Informed Consent for your group’s data to be shared via the Risk Radar with other groups of which the Radar-agent is a member.
Category 2: All Other Data Sources
The Radar-agent also facilitates access to other data sources, such as:
- Historical sightings and tracking data
- HWC-reports
- Additional relevant datasets
These data sources are integrated into the Risk Radar through the Sensing Clues Upload Service.
Granting Users Access to the Risk Radar
By default, the Risk Radar has restricted access, controlled by the Radar owner. To grant access:
- Contact Sensing Clues for further instructions.
- Initial login restrictions can be removed to make the Risk Radar publicly accessible.
Caution: Before making the Risk Radar public, carefully review the data sharing restrictions for each group that the Radar-agent is a member of.
Notes and Additional Information
- The Risk Radar only uses recent data (typically one to two weeks old).
- Third-party real-time data sources can be integrated via the Cluey API. Contact Sensing Clues for a quote to set this up.
