From Cluey version 3.17 onwards, you can import your own map layers.
Why?
Local map layers are useful in several situations, including:
Orientation: For example, checking the legal protection status of the land at your current location or determining land ownership.
Monitoring: (Re)visiting places to assess their status.
How do I load a map layer in Cluey?
Prepare your map layer in GeoJSON format.
Store the file on your phone.
Open the …More menu in Cluey (see red arrow in the picture).
Select Manage map layers.
Tap the + button to access files on your phone.
Select the map layer you want to import.
Once the map layer appears in your list, you can delete it or rename it by tapping the three dots.
How do I display a map layer in Cluey?
Open the Map menu (see blue arrow in the picture).
Tap the map icon in the upper-left corner.
Select or deselect the desired map layer (see yellow arrow in the picture).
Tap the map icon again to close the menu.
