In the concept filter on the left part of the screen in Focus it is possible to select which concepts you want to see in the results. It is also possible to exclude concepts. You do this by clicking on the "x" next to the concept.

E.g. if you want to see all observations, except for the ones with elephants tagged, you click on the "x" next to "Elephant".

You can include Elephants again, by clicking again on the "x" next to Elephant, or click in the red box above.

Example 2

With multiple selections, an "OR" statement is applicable. In other words, if I select the combination as shown below in the picture, the selection will consist of all observations which have a Giraffe tagged OR "no Elephant" tagged.

Below you can find a part of the observation list with this filter:

  • the first observation is shown, as it does not have an elephant tagged
  • the second observation is shown, as it has a giraffe tagged
  • the third observation is shown, as it has a giraffe tagged
  • the fourth observation is shown, as it does not have an elephant tagged
