One of the options to search for particular data or make a selection is the free text search.
The free text search field can be found in the upper left corner of the screen. In the picture this is the field with "Search..." displayed.
Some notes:
- The search covers all your data sources and groups.
- The search goes through all content, except the observation type (like the words "animal sighting")
- The search is not case-sensitive. Uppercase and lower case can be used at will
- If you use multiple search words, only observations that include all search words will be returned
